These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MakeMyDresss website and tailoring services. By placing an order or using our platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1 About MakeMyDresss

MakeMyDresss is a custom made-to-measure tailoring platform offering personalised garments for men and women. Every item is crafted specifically to the measurements and design choices provided by the customer at the time of ordering.

2 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order. By using our services, you represent that you meet this requirement. Orders placed on behalf of minors must be placed by a parent or legal guardian.

3 Ordering Process

• Browse our catalogue and select your garment, design options, and add-ons.
• Choose your measurement method: provide your own measurements, select a standard size, use a sample garment, or book a Call-for-Measurement appointment.
• Review your complete order summary — item, measurements, add-ons, quantity, and total — before proceeding.
• Complete payment via the secure checkout. Your order is confirmed only upon successful payment.
• A confirmation notification will be sent to your registered mobile number.

4 Measurement Accuracy

The quality of fit of your custom garment depends on the accuracy of the measurements provided.

• Customers who supply their own measurements are solely responsible for their accuracy.
• MakeMyDresss is not liable for garments that do not fit due to incorrect measurements submitted by the customer.
• We strongly recommend using our Call-for-Measurement service for the best possible fit, especially for first-time customers.
• For Sample Measurement orders, please ensure the sample garment is clean, in good condition, and accurately represents your desired fit.

5 Pricing & Payment

• All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Prices may be updated without prior notice; orders placed before a price change will be fulfilled at the original price.
• We accept payment via credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, and wallets, processed securely through Razorpay.
• An order is confirmed only after full payment is received. We do not hold items against partial or pending payment.

6 Order Cancellation

• Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of placing an order, provided tailoring has not yet commenced.
• Once a garment has entered production, cancellation is not possible as it is being custom-made to your specifications.
• To request a cancellation, contact us immediately at support@makemydresss.com with your order ID.
• Approved cancellations will receive a full refund within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.

7 Trail & Delivery

• Where a trail (fitting) date is selected, it is advisory. Actual readiness may vary slightly based on order complexity.
• Delivery timelines are estimates. Refer to our Shipping Policy for details.
• We are not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, natural events, or circumstances beyond our control.
• Please ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate. We are not liable for non-delivery due to an incorrect address.

8 Returns & Refunds

As all garments are custom-made, a limited return and refund policy applies. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details on alterations, defect claims, and refund eligibility.

9 Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including design patterns, images, logos, graphics, and software — is the intellectual property of MakeMyDresss or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without our prior written permission.

10 User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Interfere with or disrupt the functionality of the website.

11 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MakeMyDresss shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount paid for that specific order.

12 Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Karnataka, India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
